The Lost Graduation is an attempt to chronicle – in as humorous a way as possible – what it’s like to be a new grad in the era of the new normal. Drawing upon the various, mostly inglorious experiences I’ve accrued since graduating college in 2008, I recount the effort to stay afloat and stay sane as I bounced from Mom and Dad’s, to China, and finally to Europe. While yielding little in the way of employment or stability, the toil has resulted in this book – a firsthand account of what this mess looked like to those who inherited it.
